The installation process includes fitting a new window into an existing square opening in good condition, with caulking and insulation as needed. The installer will test the window to ensure it operates correctly and review the warranty and product instructions with you. Additionally, they'll handle removing and disposing of your old windows and cleaning up the job site.
The window replacement process typically begins with measurements, which take about three to nine days from the purchase date. Selecting and designing your windows can take up to one week, depending on your availability. Stock-sized windows are available immediately, while specialty windows may take three to five weeks to arrive. Scheduling the installation usually takes up to one week, and most installations are completed within a single day.
One year of protection comes standard with installation. Lowe's windows are also backed by Lowe's Double Lifetime Window Warranty.
